What is Asbestos?
Asbestos is a heat resistant property that was predominantly used before the 1990's for insulating homes and buildings against cold weather, noise and for fireproofing in industrial, construction and commercial sectors in various products and building materials. If asbestos today isn't detected, it can dry up, crumble and small fibres can be released into the air as dust particles. This is a major problem because once the fibres go airborne, humans can come into contact with it and if inhaled it has severe detrimental effects to your health. Asbestos containing materials if inhaled lead to asbestosis, lung cancer, mesothelioma and other lung and immune system issues bring grave danger to those interacting with them. Nobody wants to cope and have to go through life suffering from these illness and that is where we come in !
